So I started the Whole 30 with a few friends and just finished my 3rd day. I am very new to healthy clean eating. There’s ingredients involved that I’ve never even heard of! But I got tired of needing McDonalds very other day and decided to challenge myself to eat better. I went to an extreme challenge, I know.
I just finished day 3. I feel so good when I’m eating because I think to myself, “I actually cooked this.” I take my time eating my meals. The food tastes great so far even without using oils, dairy, bread etc. I never knew that coconut oil was healthy for cooking and didn’t make your food actually taste like coconuts. Three days ago I thought I hated coconuts but now I see why they’re so good. Three days ago I thought that I could not drink black coffee but found myself liking it on day one. Changes in my life.
One negative thing I’ve noticed is that I’m cranky and I don’t feel full as long as I use to. I’m hungrier more often. My body is still adapting to this chance. Let’s see how it goes.
